I think that I may make this a regular model that I make. That's why I gave them a name. Hammer Hats. I think that you can see why I chose that particular name. I left the bottom cymbal with an especially wavy surface, because you don't have to play on it, so it can be as wavy as I like. My goal was to create a set of heavy hats that are crisp, cutting and articulate, without also being harsh, shrill and clangy. I believe that I succeeded.
