20" Zildjian A Trans Stamp Ride |
|
You are not going to find a better sounding cymbal. I know, I know. You now have the distinct urge to call me and say something to the effect of, "Matt, don't be stupid. I have a 20" K from the 40's that weighs 1730 grams and blows that Trans Stamp away!" At which point I will politely reply, "Shut yer pie hole! You have a cymbal that sounds different, not better." Then you'll call me bad names, I'll question your manhood, you'll insult my heritage, and I'll eventually threaten you with physical damage. So, do us both a favor and just accept what I say as truth, OK? She's incredibly warm and sultry. Great stick definition and bell with an huge expanse of supporting cushion. She has a couple of edge dings, but nothing to worry about, and given her age and weight, still one of the best edges you're going to get. Almost perfect factory hole. Gorgeous patina. Hell, she's gorgeous in every respect. Check out the soundfile by the very talented Emmett Ramirez. Put that in yer pie hole and chow down!
